In Latin, CReDO means “I believe”. We maintain that “the proof is out there” for cannabis/hemp-based solutions for better living. Through our research, we aim to understand how to apply components of the cannabis plant to balance the ECS as well as identify markers of ECS dysregulation for the treatment of disease.

Our objective is to make cannabis safer and better. We do that through:
- commercializing patented products generated from our investigation of the cannabis plant and the endocannabinoid system (ECS),
- educating our community through our courses and webinars,
- formulating optimized cannabis-based products in the medical, pharmaceutical, and wellness sectors
- providing clinical consulting services.
A unique business, CReDO Science is focused on the development of market disrupting technologies. To do that, however, it is key to identify big solvable problems and conduct the preclinical and clinical research necessary to bring these products safely to market.
Our goal is not only to bring the products to market for which we have initiated the patent process but also to innovate new solutions to big problems independently and collaboratively in the greatest areas of unmet need. Thus, we consider ourselves a “think-and-do-tank.”
The Endocannabinoid System
The Endocannabinoid System (ECS) is the human body’s primary biological harm reduction system tasked with bringing the body back into balance or homeostasis whenever it is challenged by stress, infection, injury or lifestyle.
The ECS regulates/modulates every biological system in the body including:
- Pain
- Inflammation
- Mood
- Cognition

Why Cannabis
The cannabis plant is one of the safest and most biologically active plants on the planet. Over 450 bioactive chemicals have been characterized in the plant to date, many of which are therapeutic. With minimal, yet avoidable side effects, cannabis and its chemical components have an unmatched safety and versatility profile. There have been no recorded deaths attributed to its over-consumption.
Highly synergistic with human endocannabinoid system, chemicals from the cannabis plant mimic important chemicals in the endocannabinoid system which are critical to maintaining human health. Chemicals found in the cannabis plant are potent:

Our Approach
At CReDO we aim to investigate the dysregulation of the ECS to understand what is causing disease as well as how to optimize the ECS to prevent disease. From there we can formulate solutions to diagnose, prevent and treat disease in a non-toxic way. Once we have created a science-based solution, then we will license our technologies to appropriate partners that can get the innovations to those who need them the most.
